My name is Andrew Hutt.
I am an Open-Format DJ based out of Orillia Ontario. I grew up in a musical household and got introduced to music at a very young age. I was 5 years old when I started to learn piano as I got a little older I switched to brass instruments. I played Baritone for a couple years and then trumpet for a handful of years after that. It wasn’t until high school when I picked up a guitar and really fell in love with music. After high school I kept playing and would attend open mic nights and jam nights and met lots of other local musicians. It became full-time work once we started playing at events, bars, and night clubs across the GTA, Simcoe County, and Muskoka. Once I bought my first PA system, that’s when a whole bunch of other doors started opening. I started getting asked to do live sound, lighting, and DJ weddings and other events building up to doing sound at shows for different artist and entertainment acts who were touring across Canada (Dax, Madchild, Saukrates, Obie Trice, Swifty McVay of D12, Robbie G, Randy from Trailer Park Boys). While I loved playing guitar, I started focusing more on doing these types of events building up a portfolio and gaining all the experience I could get. I got involved with the wakeboard scene doing sound and spinning the Wake Canada and Ontario Wake event series as well as a Guinness World Record Wakeboard Event. Since the Covid-19 Pandemic, I have mostly been doing weddings, corporate events, night clubs, RedBull events, ski and snowboard events at Blue Mountain, Horseshoe Valley and Snow Valley, as well as wakeboard events all over Ontario. Since going back to normal life, I have slowly been getting back into DJing live shows and events.
I look forward to DJing your next event!
